I'm Betsy — a mom, a chemistry professor, and a travel lover. I love reading about hotels and destinations, planning itineraries, and searching for flight deals. I love luxury travel, but I also love figuring out how to make trips happen on any budget.
For many years I have shared Disneyland strategy guides with my friends going to the parks. That kicked off the idea to start this site where I can keep all of my travel tips and thoughts ready to share. I’m sharing my itineraries with real costs and the strategies we used to save. I’m sharing what we loved, what we would do differently, and the tricks I have picked up along the way. I write for everyone, adults only groups, families with little kids and families with teenagers.

Travel Club
Every month I host a free travel group on Zoom — think book club, but for trips. Bring your questions, your half-planned itineraries, your "is this a good deal?" screenshots. We talk through where to go, how to book flights and hotels on points, which credit cards are worth it, how to get the Southwest Companion Pass, and whatever else people are working on.
